TEAM
- Dr. Dan Hashimshony, chief scientist and cofounder, holds a Ph.D. in physics from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is one of the pioneers of miniature photo-excited, picosecond terra-hertz radiation devices. Prior to founding Dune, Dr. Hashimshony was the chief scientist of X-Technologies.
- Gil Rosen, VP business development, oversees Dune’s investor relations and ongoing business development efforts. He is a veteran business development executive, with more than eight years of technology business experience, including four years at Bloomberg’s global headquarters in New York.

Dune Medical joined Misgav in 2002 (R&D stage) and graduated in 2004. In March 2004, the company completed a $5 million Series A financing round, which was led by Apax Partners Funds. In June 2006, the company completed a $12.5 million financing round, also led by Apax Partners.
